Depression is a mood disorder which causes an intense feeling of sadness which can interfere with one’s daily activity. Types of depression include postpartum depression, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder etc.  

Bipolar is a set of disorders that falls under mood disorders such as cyclothymia, dysthymic disorder, and depression. Bipolar can be divided into Bipolar 1 and Bipolar 2.

Anxiety disorders include a set of related mental disorders that include: Panic disorder, agoraphobia, specific phobia, social anxiety disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. Other causes of anxiety could be from cultural issues, substance abuse, etc. Symptoms could include feeling restlessness, tremors, overwhelmed feeling, irritability, and physical symptoms such as diarrhea, dizziness, palpitation, syncope, sweating, etc.

Insomnia consists of a group of sleep-wake disorders. It  generally includes a complaint of dissatisfaction with sleep quality or quantity. It can also be associated with difficulty initiating or maintaining sleep, with frequent awakening or problems returning to sleep after awakening, or awakening early in the morning with an inability to return to sleep.

A disorder in which a person has difficulty recovering after experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event.

The condition may last months or years, with triggers that can bring back memories of the trauma accompanied by intense emotional and physical reactions.
